- Transportation, lodging, and meals needed for interpreting services will be invoiced separately.
- In some cases, advance preparation fees will be charged for interpreting (including lecture and conference interpreting).
- Please inquire concerning overseas interpreting services.
- After placing an order for interpreting services, if you need to cancel it for any reason, you can do so by paying a cancellation fee as follows.
- All prices include consumption tax (10%).
Cancellation fees for interpreting services from CCFJ Translation Center
In the event that the client wishes to cancel the contract or any part thereof (including any modification of date and/or time), our company reserves the right to charge cancellation fees for the cancelled services, regardless of the reason for cancelation, as follows:

- When interpretation has been requested for multiple dates and only a portion of these dates are cancelled, the above cancellation fee applies only to the cancelled dates.
- The number of days of advance notice will be calculated based on the number of business days (i.e., Saturdays, Sundays, Japanese national holidays and year-end holidays are not included in the calculation). This means that Friday cancellation of an assignment scheduled for the following Monday would be considered one day of advance notice.
- The notice of cancellation to our company by the customer MUST be done either by email or fax (notification by telephone alone is not sufficient). Notifications must be received between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Japan time. Notifications received after 5:00 p.m., Japan time, are considered as being received the following business day.
- We cannot be held in any way responsible for any issues arising from public transportation strikes, disasters, or other situations out of our control that prevent or interfere with our ability to offer interpretation services.
- Cancellation fees for interpretation service requests for one week or longer (including non-interpretation on-duty hours) will be applied from two weeks (including Saturdays and Sundays) preceding the first day of interpretation. Cancellation fees for interpretation service requests for two weeks or longer (including non-interpretation on-duty hours) will be applied from three weeks (including Saturdays and Sundays) preceding the first day of interpretation. - Cancellation fees for overseas interpretation services provided by an interpreter dispatched from Japan will be applied from two weeks (including Saturdays and Sundays) preceding the first day of interpretation outside Japan (Please refer to our quotation for details).
